We are already in full swing into the New Year and so some of you may already be doing your upmost to keep up those New Year’s resolutions for this year, whether that be dieting or developing a new research collaboration for this year!
Resolutions are a great way to think about what you want to achieve. Setting them is a great way of channelling your ambition and deciding to do something (big or small) that you want to achieve. My research resolution, as I come up towards the end of my PhD, is to really focus on networking with international researchers with the hopes to develop some collaborations in shared areas of interest.
As part of our Piirus Voices campaign we wanted to hear about your New Year’s research resolutions. If you’ve already made them, tell us what they are and how you plan on achieving them. It could be something small, like getting more organised with time management, or something big like submitting a big international grant application. Whatever it is, it would be great to hear about your research resolutions!
